/ About the project

Defining the brand and visual identity for UC San Diego’s leading EDM community.

As Marketing Manager, I led the brand strategy for DVC, one of the largest music organizations at UCSD. We carved out a dominant space on campus by specializing in Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and vinyl culture, creating a cohesive visual language that sets us apart from other music clubs while maintaining a high-energy aesthetic.

Visualizing the vibe: From club takeovers to weekly workshops.

I design posters and social graphics for every DVC event. Whether it’s a massive rave at Bloom Nightclub or a chill "Workshop Wednesday," I use tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Midjourney to create visuals that get people to show up.

Capturing the energy: Using video to tell our story.

I don't just design, I document. I tried using Canva to animate the graphic to be more immersive. Also using my DJI Pocket 3, I film our live sets at venues like Mom’s Cafe and Bloom. I turn that footage into Reels and social content to keep our community hyped between events.

My tenure as Marketing Manager was defined by a data-driven approach to community engagement. By synchronizing high-fidelity visual content with strategic outreach, we achieved a sold-out 500-ticket capacity for our "RAVEYARD II" takeover at Bloom Nightclub and grew our Instagram followers by 800 members in the first month of the academic year, having 3700 followers currently. My "Sun God Afterdark" campaign alone generated over 129,000 views, proving the power of targeted, genre-specific storytelling in reaching the UC San Diego student body.
